As a father of young kids, Art always loved experimenting with carob. He made all sorts of candy bars and wow did those kids fall in love with them.
One day Art took some of his tasty carob bars made with simple ingredients like malt-sweetened carob chips, barley malt, non-hydrogenated palm kernel oil, carob, soy lecithin, raw sugar, coconut, almond butter, malted barley, chicory, peanuts and almonds to a social gathering. And they too loved his bars. They were the hit of the party!
One of the party goes walked up to him and said, “Art you need to market this. These carob bars are the best carob bars on the planet!” By Monday morning Humphrey had designed a candy bar wrapper and soon after began filling them with his healthy carob treats and his home-based business was born!
